The avocado green merino wool of this piece inspired a groovy 70’s theme of copper, mustard and chartreuse. I’m just smitten with how this turned out!
6cm in diameter 7.5cm in length.
On a brown leather bolo with beautiful etched gold fill caps.

Another piece of reflection and connection with our animal kin. Since taking the hunter’s education course, I’ve of course been thinking lots about waawaashkeshi (deer) and the gifts they bless us with. If it weren’t for them, we likely wouldn’t be here, ultimately.

I started off making these bimikawaanan (tracks) as pins for hats but they’re too big! So many thanks to everyone that’s been weighing in on alternative settings for them.

The first holiday market of the season was a great success! Chii miigwech to @fatgoosecraftfair for hosting so many talented and inspiring vendors in such a cozy and beautiful venue! I’d love to do this all again next year.
